One of the active volcanoes closest to the country’s capital. Located only one and a half hours from San Jose. In the surrounding areas you will encounter the Orosi valley, one of the richest agricultural zones in Costa Rica generated by the volcanic ash and smoke

Is located on the Northern Caribbean slope of the country. A navigable network of lakes and canals running parallel to the coast crosses Tortuguero from southeast to northwest.

Welcome to Learn Spanish Abroad

Learn Spanish Abroad (LSA) provides Foreign Language students as well as anyone, eighteen years of age and older, with a unique opportunity to become immersed in the language and culture of Costa Rica. Located in San Jose, our Intensive Spanish and cultural programs offers 12 different Intensive (4 week/80 hours) courses in Spanish grammar, conversation and composition. Courses are throughout the year beggining every first Monday.

Why Learn Spanish Abroad (LSA)?

It is our priority to assist each students in having the most productive time here in Costa Rica. We are fully equipped to aid with travel arrangements, transportation, accommodations, and any other special needs.

Our study abroad program is validated by the Ministry of Education and you can earn credits or ECTS (European Transfer Credit System).

Professors have a Master degree and the programs are reviewed every year so as to adapt any methodological or evaluation changes for high academic quality.

Intensive Spanish Courses
