Welcome to Learn Spanish Abroad
Learn Spanish Abroad (LSA) provides Foreign Language students as well as anyone, eighteen years of age and older, with a unique opportunity to become immersed in the language and culture of Costa Rica. Located in San Jose, our Intensive Spanish and cultural programs offers 12 different Intensive (4 week/80 hours) courses in Spanish grammar, conversation and composition. Courses are throughout the year beggining every first Monday.
The use of authentic and practical contexts facilitates the acquisition of vocabulary and grammatical structure. Students are coached in the analysis of linguistic and extra linguistic elements during the reading and writing practices. Evaluation system in all Spanish courses integrates convergent (grammatical structure) and divergent (global use of language) techniques in test procedures. All levels evaluate oral, listening, reading and writing assignments.
